Sheryl says her life goal is to help others and in addition to doing so professionally, she strives to achieve that personally through charity work which began at her Primary School level where she was enrolled in Brownies and then later in the Barbados Girl Guides Association. She was also a member of the Barbados Youth Parliament and Key Club Barbados which speaks to her passion of service. She strongly believes that charity can change a person’s life and the world one day at a time, simply by lending a hand in service and this is what leads her to volunteer  for organizations such as the Kiwanis, The Barbados Vagrant and Homeless Society and Variety the Children’s Charity of Barbados.

Her love for stage and performing drove her to enter the Miss Queens College Pageant where she placed first runner up and The Miss Barbados Caribbean Pageant where she emerged the winner, which afforded her the opportunity to represent her country at the Miss Carival Pageant 2016.

Sheryl believes she can be a great ambassador for her country with her determined and pleasant personality which is proven through her kindness and her willingness to help shape the youth and her country which contributes to its development.
